ANIME is officially getting a general retail re-release in December 2025. Originally launched in December 2018, this fan-favorite figure from Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket returns with its full set of Chobam Armor, allowing collectors to recreate both the heavily armored and unarmored forms of the NT-1 “Alex.”Developed in the late stages of the One Year War, the RX-78NT-1 was a specialized Newtype-use mobile suit designed with cutting-edge responsiveness and enhanced survivability. Though the Earth Federation had only recently begun exploring Newtype development, the NT-1 was born from combat data gathered from Amuro Ray and the RX-78-2. Built at Augusta Base and meant for frontline deployment, the suit was outfitted with optional Chobam Armor developed under the "Armor Layered EXamination" project—giving rise to its nickname, “Alex.”This Ver. ANIME edition faithfully reproduces its anime-accurate proportions, posing flexibility, and transformation options with the included Chobam Armor parts. However, please note that this 2025 re-release does not include the smoke effect parts that were previously featured in promotional material for the original 2018 version.
