All Cats And Locations In Cronos: The New Dawn

Cronos: The New Dawn is a survival-horror game set in an alternate-history Poland, destroyed after a mysterious disease changed people into monsters. As you explore, you will occasionally find cats, for a total of 10 across the game, who will drop valuable items for you, or even provide keys to locked rooms. The cats are often tucked away off to the side, so you will need to keep your eyes out. Because you can't backtrack to previous areas, the cats are listed here in our guide in the order and locations in which you will find them.Be mindful of some light spoilers in the text here. BorówkaJust after using the shop key and seeing an enemy merge for the first time, Borówka will be at the bottom of a staircase in your direct path, serving as a tutorial cat. MelaAfter obtaining the bolt cutters from the hardware store, head back towards where you initially dropped down into this area. There is a chained door; use the bolt cutters to get inside to find the cat. Mela is inside this door, which requires bolt cutters. KarolDuring the Edward/Apartment time anomaly jump, a cat will guide you to the location of the shelter key. After getting the key and escaping the basement, the cat will jump over a fence leading you back towards the shelter, but head into the small park to interact with Karol. After leaving the basement, head this direction, the park will be on your left. CynamonIn the tram station, after restoring the power, you will make your way back to the tram. In the same room as the tram, there is a small control room that was locked before but is now open with the power on. Inside you can find Cynamon. Cynamon is inside this room, directly across from the tram, which can be accessed after powering both generators. MerlinAfter getting the grav boots, you will exit the area where you obtained them, head through a safe room, and begin to follow a series of grav points. This pathing is confusing, but the best way to understand it is that you will reach a platform where a crawling enemy appears. After dispatching them, turn around, and use the grav boots to wrap around the back. From there, you can manipulate an anomaly that will reveal a new grav point. Jump to it, and you will see Merlin run into a small room. Follow him inside and he will be waiting for you. You will see Merlin run into this room after landing on solid ground. BalbinaBalbina is located in the Terminal, in-between the Steelworks and Hospital sections. You will be sent through the maintenance area to power up some generators to power the terminal. As you approach the backroom with the generator, there is a door in the hallway leading to it with a red light above it. Once the power is on, the door will unlock, and you can enter the room to find Balbina. GusOn your way to the hospital, you will complete a combat sequence in a small market area, before jumping from grav point to grav point, leading into a tall building. Inside that building, there will be a grav point you jump downwards towards, but instead, you need to shoot the board blocking a grav point in the building. Jump to it and explore the apartment area to find a cat in one of the rooms. Shoot these boards to gain access to the grav point behind them, which will lead you to Gus. BebolaDuring the hospital time jump sequence, you will be tasked with exploring the hospital to find chemicals to make a compound. You will have to go through the underground hospital tunnel, and at the far end of that, you will head up stairs to enter the first wing of the hospital. At the top of the stairs, just after exiting the tunnel, there is a locked door that you will need to come back to with the doctor's keycard, which you have to get as part of the main quest. There are a bunch of enemies in this hallway, but you need to head all the way to the end, past the file cabinet, and into some back rooms to find Bebola. Head into the operation block, fight to the end of the hallway, take a right, and follow the back rooms to reach Bebola. IndiaIn Station B, you will need to turn on two generators in order to take the train to the Abbey. After turning on the first generator, you will be able to enter a new area where you can head towards the second generator. Off the room with the Christmas Tree, you will find a safe area, and be able to see a cat behind some glass. Head through the gate to the left of the cat, and follow the path until you reach a chained-up door opposite a metal gate. Use the bolt cutters to enter, and continue through until you activate the power in the stores here. Enter the main store, bash through the wooden planks, and India will be on the other side. FreyaAt the church abbey, after obtaining the key to the old cemetery, use the key to enter the gate to the right of the church puzzle. After entering, there is a small crypt directly ahead, which is locked by chains. Use the bolt cutter to open it up, and squeeze through the opening to the right to find Freya.
